Focus area: Social Inclusion
The New Zealand Ethnic Women’s Trust

The New Zealand Ethnic Women’s Trust (formerly known as Somali Women’s Incorporated Society) helps with the settlement and support of migrants and refugees from a variety of ethnic and national backgrounds to New Zealand through initiatives in the areas of enterprise, health and education.

The society focuses primarily on migrant and refugee women, and seeks to empower them so that they can become financially independent and help their families thrive and succeed in New Zealand.
