Refugee youth in Auckland are getting the chance to “mix it up” thanks to a creative programme designed especially for migrant and local young people.
Aimed at 13 – 25 year olds, Mixit is a project that uses dance, drama and music to build confidence and communication while establishing new connections. Based at the Corban Estate Arts Centre in Henderson, the group are often performing in festivals and have a massive following.
