Lending our voice to collective climate action

As a signatory to the Climate Action Aotearoa (CAA) Funders Commitment on Climate Action, Foundation North supports the Combined Community Trusts’ Climate Action Working Group’s submission on the Draft Second Emissions Reduction Plan.

We mihi to Esther Whitehead, CAA’s Climate Action Co-Lead, for preparing the submission, which calls for leadership, direction, prioritisation and collaboration from the Government to enable the mobilisation of philanthropic capital in Aotearoa.

We support the acceleration of a just (tika) transition to a low-carbon society in Aotearoa, working together with Iwi/hapū/Māori.
