Vacancy - Communications Co-ordinator

Foundation North is a grant-making organisation requiring a Communications Co-ordinator to join the Strategy Team in support of the work of not-for-profit groups in Auckland and Northland.

Each year, Foundation North grants millions of dollars to not-for-profit groups in Auckland and Northland. We're looking for a creative communicator who is passionate about helping the youth, community, arts, sports, and cultural organisations and events we support to bring their stories to wider audience. As communications co-ordinator, you will also help us inform our stakeholders about what we do, reach out to communities to encourage them to apply for grants, share ideas that make difference, and inspire more people to participate in and contribute to our community.

Ideally you will have:

• at least 1-3 years experience in a communications roles
• strong writing and content generation skills
• an active engagement in social media
• an understanding of multi-media communications
• website content maintenance skills
• Excellent time management skills
• ability to work successfully with our regions' diverse communities
• ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
